Nature of This Resource

This is a private reference site, not an official records office. It does not hold Huron County jail files, court records, OTIS data, VINE data, or federal custody records. We cannot certify custody, release a person, change a record, accept a public-record request for an agency, or file a court document.

The site provides directions to Huron County release resources, Michigan corrections systems, federal locators, and third-party research tools. Michigan Freedom of Information Act requests under MCL 15.231 et seq. must go to the public body that possesses the requested record. An outbound link does not make us the custodian of that material.

Acceptable Use Rules

You agree to use the site in a lawful way that does not harm another person, interfere with the service, or evade the restrictions stated here. You must not:

No Consumer Reporting Services

Huron County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We do not provide background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services. Our advertising and search partners do not offer those services through this site. By using the site, you agree not to use its information for:

• A decision to hire, fire, promote, or retain a worker.
• Tenant selection, housing approval, or another rental decision.
• Creditworthiness, lending terms, or an insurance premium.
• A license, permit, benefit, or government-program eligibility decision.

Links Beyond Our Control
